The Eco-Sauna and Hybrid Steam Room are now certified by Greener Products. January 2011 -  We are excited the Am-Finn Hybrid Steam Room and Eco-Sauna are now certified by Greener Products. The Eco-Sauna has a low VOC (volatile organic compound), is made of recycled content and is considered rapidly renewable. Our Hybrid Steam Room received certification under the low VOC's and energy efficiency. Currently we have shown that our Hybrid Steam Room can reduce energy costs by up to 50% compared to running a traditional steam room. Visit Greener Products website for more information.

Nellis Air Force Base Nevada. March 2011 -  In 2009, this base was approved for a new $25 Million dollar, 109,000 square foot fitness center that will its existing 80,000 square foot facility. Click here for a picture of the new base fitness center. We are excited to announce that two of Am-Finn's Eco-Saunas will be installed in this new facility. Kansas State University Peters Rec Center. Summer 2011 - Construction began August 2010 for the expansion and renovation of KSU's Peters Rec Center. This $23 million dollar project will include a multi-activity court gymnasium, elevated running/walking tracks and remodeled locker rooms that will include two new Eco-Saunas from Am-Finn. The last remodel was in 1995 so these new features and improvements are very much needed and welcomed by everyone at the university. For more information on the expansion project, click here.

Health Zone. Winter 2010/Spring 2011 - The 6.5 million dollar Health Zone Remodel Marathon kicked off on August 30th to give their 70,000 square foot facility a new modern look and feel. Included in this renovation will be an Am-Finn Eco-Sauna for each of the locker rooms. This remodel is expected to last into early next year but the finished product will be well worth the wait. Battery Park City Liberty Luxe. Spring 2011 - In a statement given by the New York Observer "Liberty Luxe condominiums residences is in one of New York's most family-friendly neighborhoods". This building is also part of the largest green residential development in the world. They achieve LEED Gold standards which is why Am-Finn is proud to have been awarded the contract to install two Eco-Saunas. These saunas will qualify the building for 3 separate LEED credits. Spunk Fitness. Spring 2011 -  Two Hybrid Steam Rooms are being installed at the Ellicott City Spunk Fitness club in the very near future. Each Spunk Fitness offers full service locker rooms and the Hybrid Steam rooms will only enhance the appeal of this club. Currently there are five Spunk Fitness's in the Maryland area with a sixth location opening up soon in Silver Spring. Click here to visit the Spunk Fitness website. 

Square 673, Washington DC. First quarter of 2011- This new 13 floor condominium is almost completed and will have an Eco-Sauna as one of it's resident amenities.  As one of the advantages of the Eco-sauna is that the building owner can qualify for three separate LEED credits. F.E. Warren Air Force Base. March 2011 -  Next to Cheyenne, Wyoming sits the F.E. Warren Air Force Base. This base is updating their gym that was originally built after World War II. One of the upgrades to this gym will be a new Eco-Sauna for all military personal to use. Click here for more information about this Air Force Base.

YMCA in Maplewood NY. January 2011 -  The YMCA in Maplewood New York broke ground earlier this year for their $5 million dollar expansion and renovation project. The original building was constructed in 1916 and will be preserved as much as possible while giving the building the updates it needs. As a long time vendor to the YMCA's across the nation, Am-Finn will be installing an Eco Sauna as part of this project. Click Here for a local story on this project.

Lofts at Reynolds Village Apartments. Winter 2010 -  Currently under construction is a four story, 200,000+ square foot apartment complex in Asheville, North Carolina. This new complex comes complete with a swimming pool, clubhouse and social club. A 10 person pre-cut sauna is one of the many amenities for the residents to enjoy.

World Gym, Cheektowaga, NY. December 2010 -  The newest, 28,000 square full service World's gym is now open. This location has installed two Eco-Saunas and lists them as an amenity on their website. Yakima Athletic Club, Yakima WA . December 2010 -  The Yakima Athletic Club has proudly announced on their website that they installed an Am-Finn Hybrid Steam room. The site references a very long list of benefits that the steam room will bring them, such as muscle soreness and stiff joint relief, immune system enhancement and sinus congestion relief. LA Fitness, Rockville, MD. November 2010 -  One of the newest LA Fitness's opening its doors is in Rockville, MD. The location is home to an eco-sauna for the men's and women's locker rooms. LA Fitness is no stranger to Am-Finn Sauna and Steam's Eco Saunas. With its traditional look and incredible cost savings, the Eco Sauna is an obvious choice every time.

LA Fitness. Harbort City, CA. November  2010 -  Harbor City is home to one of the newest LA Fitness's in the country. This facility features two pre cut saunas for their members and will defiantly be a selling point for the gym. Gold's Gym Milwaukee, WI. October 2010 -  Milwaukee has their very first Gold's Gym and it houses four Am-Finn Eco-Saunas.  Am-Finn has been a long time preferred vendor for Gold's Gyms across the North American continent. Eco-Saunas continue to provide Gold's Gyms with environmentally responsible saunas while still giving their members an authentic cedar sauna. Diamond Hills Sports Club and Spa. September 2010 -  General Manager Neal Scheyer of Diamond Hills Sport Club and Spa in Oakley, California stated in a letter of recommendation for the Am-Finn Hybrid Steam Room "I am thrilled about the extreme ease of maintenance compared with traditional tiled steam rooms."  Scheyer goes on to say "...and since we are such a modern, up-scale facility, the contemporary design of Am-Finn steam room units pair very well with the rest of our locker room decor."
